Here's Little Pink Girl on the verge of growing up. Oh, and I forgot to congratulate Allie's owner, Cabell, on her fine 1st place showing in Rally Novice. She was nervous but powered through to the blue ribbon!
ABOUT FRONTIER
In 1992, David Calhoun and Lee Davis got together with a mutual love of the Bouvier breed. They began a small “kennel” under the Frontier name. Generally breeding only one litter a year, Frontier has produced two dual champions(conformation and herding titles earned by the same dog), two AKC Best In Show Winners, regional specialty winners and over 25 champions.
Their brood bitches have taken the title of Top Brood Bitch in the American Bouvier des Flandres club for 4 of the past 9 years and a bitch they bred was Top Brood Bitch yet again in 2009. Bitches and dogs they have bred have been purchased by several well known breeders (Margaux, Avion, Bon Idee, Skrattegaard and Limerick) and added to their breeding programs. With a focus on the complete dog…health, temperament and conformation…they strive to produce animals who make great companions in addition to being excellent structural specimans as well as proficient at the herding and working jobs for which the breed was originally developed.
Prior to 1992, Lee Davis bred under the “Jorlee” prefix and produced Bouviers who earned Best In Show wins in Australia as well as the U.S. All dogs and bitches used in the Frontier program are fully health tested.

PUPPIES MAKE THEIR DEBUTS
We went to the National and beyond! At the National, Poni, that cute fawn girl with her mom, Linda, won her 6-9 Sweeps class. Mavraki owned by Sheila placed in his 6-9 Sweeps class. He had absolutely no show training before this so he did great. Then our Lucie, Susant's On The Loose At Frontier, was Reserve Winner's Bitch. This is a huge honor. But back to the puppies....you can see by the picture that Bizzie got a major...and this was from the Puppy Class. Then Luna earned another point toward her championship. She has 5 or 6 points now. And just this weekend, Nike, owned by Jean, got his first point and he's on the road! What wonderful owners, what wonderful pups. Heard from "Little Pink Girls" folks. Bijou as she is known is making that family very happy. Thank you all. AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

LUNA
Luna is blue collar girl and is now living the good life "down South". Her mom, Kim, is taking her to conformation class and says she loves it! She has gone to dog shows with mom and her big Bouvier sister and been admired by the Bouvier folks. She also has some Kerry Blue Terrier housemates.

NIKE & STERLING
Sterling(he's the gray one) aka Blue Collar aka Frontier Silver Legacy lives in Delaware with his owner, Debbie Eckels. His favorite pastimes are playing with his brother, Nike and sleeping on the air conditioner vent. Debbie jokingly said that Sterling was Paladin's replacement (Ch Frontier Have Gun Will Travl), but he is displaying a lot of Paladin's behaviors, especially always being in the way. He exhibits "big boy" behavior by being able to be loose with Debbie's other Bouviers and not cause chaos. His Bouvier housemates are Shooter (DC Frontier Strait Shooter HXAsd CD RAE (11 years) Katie (Ch Frontier Katie Bar the Door HSAsd (6 years and Kizzie's littermate), Buzzie (Avion's Adventurer HSAsd (9 years), Emily (Skrattegaard Emily at Eclipse HSAsd (5 years).
Nike(he's the fawn one) aka Red Collar aka Frontier Just Do It lives in many places with his owner, Jean Nocilly. Right now they are planning on relocating to DE. Nike's favorite pastimes are playing with his brother Sterling and his sister Bizzi. He has also started chasing ducks and doing some tracking.
Since mom, Jean, is doing some judging (Rally and Obedience), Nike spends time with his aunt Debbie (Eckels) and thus his brother Sterling. Nike lives with 4 other Bouviers: DC Mapleridge Babochon Illusion UDX HXAd HSBd AX AXJ RAE (Grover age 12), Ch Skrattegaard Eat My Dust CDX AXP OJP HXAsd RE (Dust age 6), DC Skrattegaard Breakin The Rules HXAsdc HIBd OA NAJ RE CDX (Mariah age 5) and Ch Eclipse Be Careful What You Wish For HSAsd (Callie age 2).

BIZZI IS BUSY!
Bizzi lives in VA with Nancy & Karl. She torments the other Bouviers in her home....Micah & Gretchen, 12 and 10 respectively, plus Gretchen's kids...Jordi, Trekker and Ruckus. The 14 year old, Freya, also doesn't understand why Bizzi can't just play with the two Border Terriers! She is now named Frontier Busy Being Fabulous at Skrattegaard. Her mom plans on showing her in conformation, obedience, rally and herding. Bizzi will indeed be a busy girl!

GREEN COLLAR EXPLORES THE WORLD
Hi, they call me Mavraki, a fancy Greek name. Pretty, isn't it. I live over in the Bay area of California. Mom and dad take me a lot of cool places. I get to go to the winery, the beach, long walks in the hills. I've even been a therapy dog! And all this before I'm 4 months old. I have seen sheep and goats...they were interesting. I had to sit and stare at them for a long time. The ocean is a bit scary but I'm sure I'll get used to it...those watery things coming at you and then running away. Not sure I get that! But life is fun. More Mavraki adventures as they unfold. Thank you for enjoying these.

THEY ARE 4 MONTHS...AND GROWING
Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of how much they have changed. Orange Collar girl is celebrating the 4th of July. She lives in Virginia and her mom is already training her in agility. Lime Green girl is on her mother's lap. This is one of the few times she is still as her mother claims she is very active...and very smart. She is headed for conformation and obedience.

Pups Chosen by Jean & Nancy
The first puppy is gold collar, 2nd is Light blue girl, 3rd is dark blue boy and the fourth is red collar boy. Gold and Light Blue are in contention for Nancy's affection. Dark blue boy is for Debbie's eyes only and red has already won Jean's heart.
